IN MEMORIAM One of our original founding board members died Monday April 7th. Jim Salmons was 59 and passed away with heart complications. For the 28 years I've known Jim, his first love has always been fishing. When he's at the Pearly gates the first thing he'll ask his maker, (with a big smile on his face), "how's the fishen"? Board Member Mike Painter, lost his dad at the end of April. Ron Porter was the first of our original founding members to pass on. When Ron passed on we had a party of all parties at the local pub, giving Ron a well deserved send off. Haven't had a beer with him for a few years, but I'll stop at the cemetery this year and have a cold one with him. Des Moines Swap Meet Dave Handy and his son, Phil Brown, Dave Kraft and Tom Davis represented the club arranged the booth and worked the event.
